## How to convert NEF to JPG.

1. **Drop your NEF files.** Drag them onto the box or choose them from your computer, card reader or phone. Add as many as you like, up to 50 at a time.
2. **Pick quality and size.** Standard suits sharing, Best suits prints. Turn on half size for quick previews or when your device is low on memory.

### What it does

- Full resolution: a 24 MP RAW file becomes a 24 MP JPG.
- The white balance your camera recorded, in standard sRGB colour.
- Batches converted one after another, each downloadable as soon as it is done.

### What it doesn't do

- No picture styles, lens corrections or edits: the JPG is a clean starting point, not a finished photo.
- No upload: big files take as long as your device needs, usually a few seconds each.

### Is this NEF to JPG converter free?

### Which Nikon cameras are supported?

NEF files from Nikon Z mirrorless cameras and DSLRs, lossless and lossy compressed, and NRW files from Coolpix cameras. Some files saved in Nikon's newest High Efficiency RAW mode may not decode yet; save a copy as standard NEF if one fails.

### Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The RAW files are decoded by your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to sellphotos.online or anyone else, which is also why there is no file size limit.

### Will the JPG look like my camera's JPEG or my Lightroom edit?

Close to the camera's, not to an edit. The converter uses the white balance your camera recorded and standard sRGB colour, with no picture style, lens correction or edits. It is right for previews, culling and client proofs; keep your editor for the finished photos.

### Can I convert many files at once?

Yes. Add up to 50 files and they convert one after another. Download each JPG when it is ready, or all of them as one zip at the end.

### What does half size do?

It makes a JPG half as wide and half as tall (a quarter of the pixels), and converts several times faster. Use it for quick previews, and on iPhone and iPad, which can't hold a full-size photo from most cameras in memory.

### Why did a file fail to convert?

The file may be damaged, from a camera newer than the converter, or saved in a compression mode it doesn't read yet. Try half size, or a different file from the same camera to check.
