Questions about watermarking photos
Is this watermark tool really free?
Yes. There is no account, no trial and no limit on how often you use it. The watermarked copies are yours to use anywhere. The designs are the same ones sellers use on sellphotos.online.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The photos are read by your browser and the watermark is drawn on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers, so there is nothing for us to store, and it works offline once the page has loaded.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Add up to 200 photos in one go, set the watermark once and it is applied to all of them. Every photo in the list shows its watermark before you download, and the batch saves as one zip. Each photo keeps its own size and shape; the mark is laid out again for every frame, so portraits and landscapes both look right.
Is batch watermarking done on a server?
No. Every photo in the batch is watermarked by your browser, one after another, and the zip is built on your device. A big batch takes a little longer on an older phone, but nothing is uploaded and you can cancel at any time.
What size and format do I get back?
JPEG photos come back as JPEG and PNG stays PNG. The long edge is capped at 4,096 pixels, which is plenty for the web and social media. The clean original on your disk is never changed.
Can I put my name in the corner of a photo?
Yes. In the Branding tab, pick one of 9 spots on the photo or every corner, then a style: plain, a badge, a strip across the photo or a script signature. Add a second line such as your website or @handle, then adjust the colour, opacity and size.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Choose a PNG or SVG of your logo. Branding marks put it beside or above your name, and the Logo collection repeats it or centres it large. It is read by your browser like the photos and never uploaded.
Can I watermark with just my logo, no text?
Yes. Choose your logo, then clear the name and the second line. The Branding marks draw the logo on its own, a little larger, in the spot and style you picked.
Which watermark stops people reusing a photo?
A small mark in one corner takes a second to crop out. If the photo is a preview of something you sell, use one of the Classic, Statement, Bold or Pattern designs: they tile the photo, cross its middle or lay a texture over all of it.
