## How to make a photography quotation.

1. **Add your studio once.** Your name, contact details and how clients pay you. The page remembers them on this device for every quote and invoice.

### What should a photography quotation include?

Your studio and the client, the event and its date, each service with its price, any discount and tax, the total, the advance that books the date, and how long the price is valid. The form has a field for each.

### How much advance should a photographer take?

Many photographers ask 25% to 50% to block the date, with the balance on the event day or at delivery. Type it as a percentage ("30%") or an amount; the quote shows the advance and the balance.

### What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?

A quotation is the price you offer before the booking, with a date it is valid until. An invoice asks for payment after the client has agreed. Once they say yes, open the invoice maker: your studio's details are already there.

### Where is my quotation data stored?

Only in your browser. Your studio's details are kept on this device so you don't type them again (turn off "Remember my studio" to stop that); client details are never kept. Nothing is sent to sellphotos.online or anyone else.

### Should I add GST to a photography quotation?

If you are GST-registered, yes: the client should see the price they will pay. Pick Indian rupee, type your GSTIN and the rate, and choose CGST + SGST or IGST. If you are not registered, leave the rate empty.
